Dave Williams

Dave has an extensive background in sound design, mixing, installation for concerts, theatres, clubs, churches and special events.

He has worked with a wide variety of performers. In his early years with Jon English, Marcia Hines and their manager Peter Rix, he did extensive tours throughout Australia and New Zealand. .

He then moved into venue management of audio for a huge entertainment complex on the Gold Coast, Seagulls Rugby Leagues Club.
Here he mixed and produced major events for artists such as Pointer Sisters ,Peter Allen, John Rowles, B B King, Blood Sweat and Tears, Commodores and, musicals like Hair, King and I, Oklahoma. In this period he installed a new sound system and completely updated all facets of Seagulls audio.

The churches in the Gold Coast area are also a major part of Dave's work. He has consulted and installed audio in 2 major churches; Rhema Bible Church and Dream Centre .They have contracted him to train staff in the use of their sound system. His wide experience in all aspects of audio give him a unique insight into the problems of installing and managing the audio systems in many diverse applications.

Dave has won an Ampex Golden Reel Award for producing Jon English's live album, Beating the Boards, and has worked with award winning composer Mario Millo and engineered and recorded 2 Christian albums for Rhema Bible Church.

He has recently returned to touring with Jands Production Services and has worked with the VDOSC system from L-ACOUSTICS .
He has completed tours with Bob Dylan, Olivia Newton John, The Counting Crows, Chris Isaak and the musicals Fame and The Man From Snowy River.

His current involvement with L-ACOUSTICS speakers has reignited his enthusiasm in the industry that had waned over his 26yrs of work.
